How it works

Take part in Do It For Dolly Day on May 8th and Go Blue to End Bullying. Fundraise, spread kindness, raise awareness, and support young people across Australia.

About Do It For Dolly Day

Do It For Dolly Day, held on May 8, 2026, is a national day of action calling on Australians to Go Blue to End Bullying.

Now in its eighth year, the day highlights the devastating impact of bullying by sharing the story of Dolly Everett, who was only 14 when ongoing bullying and cyberbullying tragically led her to take her own life in 2018.

Dolly's story is heartbreaking but reflects the experience of far too many young people across Australia.

By taking part in Do It For Dolly Day—whether fundraising, donating, or hosting an event—you’re joining a movement that funds Dolly’s Dream programs and supports young people and families across Australia so no one has to face bullying alone.

Join us on May 8. Go Blue to End Bullying.

Why Go Blue to End Bullying

Going Blue to End Bullying is more than wearing Dolly Everett’s favourite colour. It’s about standing against bullying, sparking important conversations, and inspiring your community to do the same.

It’s taking action to make Dolly’s dream of a kinder, safer world a reality. A world where young people have support, parents have somewhere to turn, and schools are equipped to stop bullying before it starts.

Your support provides bullying, online safety, and mental health help to young people, families, and communities — especially in rural, regional, and remote areas where help is harder to find.

Register your fundraiser and join us on May 8th to help create a kinder, safer world for young people.
