I can’t hold my fundraiser in May. Can I host my Do It For Dolly Day fundraiser in a different month?

add remove

While we love seeing a sea of blue and all the Do It For Dolly Day fundraising events and celebrations happening around Australia on our day in May, we appreciate that some people might not be able to hold their fundraising event or Do It For Dolly Day activity in May.

Fundraisers held outside of May will be classified as a Dolly’s Dream community fundraising activity, not as a Do It For Dolly Day fundraiser. We will of course still support your activity just as we do with all of our wonderful Dolly’s Dream community fundraisers throughout the year.

Why is my support needed?

add remove

We are so grateful and appreciative of the support from across the country to date as it has allowed us to make positive change in only a few years. You can read more about the impact of the support we’ve received here. But we aren’t done, and we need your support so we can continue this vital work. Sadly, around one in four Australian school children are bullied each year and around one in five are cyber bullied. Approximately 45 million bullying incidents take place in Australia’s schools each year and it costs the community greatly. Your support and donations mean that we can continue to develop and provide vital bullying prevention and online safety programs to kids, families, schools and communities across Australia. It means that we can equip our kids with the knowledge to overcome bullying and start to create a cultural shift across this country where kindness with each other and communication with our kids is the new norm.

Where does the money go?
