I am taking part in Do It For Dolly Day! It is a day dedicated to bringing the community together, spreading kindness and uniting in taking a stand against bullying.

Dolly’s Dream foundation is close to my heart. As some of you know I faced bullying and mental illness. At the ripe age of 17 I no longer wanted to be living a life full of nasty horrible people. The bullying was not only at school and the workplace but it was at home, in my pocket. On the 8th of May 2019 my brother called an ambulance while my mum held me in the bathroom. What lead up to this was a normal night sitting on the couch. I received a message that just tipped me off. I take pride in sharing my story and advocating. I was lucky I came out the other side, unfortunately dolly lost her life. But now there is this amazing foundation to raise money and spread awareness to make a difference to put an end to bullying and suicide in young people. Dolly’s story has a huge impact on us all. So please get behind this amazing cause. We just have to be kinder to those around us.
